February 2013

We seem to be settling into our routine. But we are still not getting used to the cold.

We keep trying to find things to do, so early in the month we volunteered to serve at the local soup kitchen.

We celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary.

Attended several of Taylor’s swim meets. His team did very well. They took first in the final competition between schools.

Attended the temple on a day other than our scheduled shift.

Sandra attended New Beginnings with Tawnya.

We gave a special fireside to one of the Wards in our Stake for Relief Society Home Making meeting.

We helped clean the church on one Saturday.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day with our traditional night out with Brenda & Lavar Summers and Susan Welker.
Sorry we didn’t get any photos of many of our activities. I guess we are just getting out of the habit.

The highlight of the month was our cruise with Sandra’s brothers and sister. We went to the Mexican Riviera on the Sapphire Princess. We really had a great time.
We stayed the night before leaving with Lee & Nancy. Then flew out of Salt Lake City Sat. morning.

We had a GREAT time-
playing cards

eating a lot

took an excursion on a zipline

whale watching

but best of all was visiting with our family.

Wrapped up the month with the Blue & Gold Banquet with a theme of the Knights of the Roundtable.

Wow, how will we top all that next month?
