We attended lots of grandkid’s recitals.
And we celebrated Rich’s 70th birthday. Sorry, no photos. It was pretty boring.
We started yard work. We will have a lot of work to do to get our yard back into shape after 2 summers of neglect.
Sandra performed in her Bell Choir at the First Presbyterian Church.
Attended several funerals. We are getting to an age where all our friends are dying off.
The Ward Young Men & Young Women held a dinner for the old folks in the ward, and guess what? We were invited. I guess we might as well accept the fact that we fit into the old generation.
The highlight for these 2 months was our trip to General Conference. Sandra has wanted to attend a conference for years. And this time we were able to get tickets. We actually got 6 tickets so we invited Lee & Nancy and Hal & Debbie to go with us. Hal & Debbie were unable to go so we gave 2 tickets away.
We had a great weekend with Lee & Nancy and really enjoyed attending the conference session with them.
We were asked to present a fireside for the Ammon Stake Relief Society Saturday activity. It’s always fun to talk about our mission so we enjoyed that. There were about 200 in attendance.
Then to close out the month of April we went to Boise to see Sandra’s Aunt & Uncle. Sorry, again no photos. Rich is just getting out of the habit.
We visited Mitch’s parents and the Jorgensens that we had served with in Africa.
